Courses shaped around the licence you need
Our Category C course covers rigid LGVs up to 18 tonnes, with 20-hour and 28-hour options for new drivers who want more time to settle in. C plus E training is a strong next move if you want the highest LGV licence category and need structured tuition that reflects your current level. For 7.5-tonne work, our C1 course is often chosen by delivery drivers, ambulance staff, and people moving into specialist transport roles.
Bus and minibus training is available through Category D and D1, and our automatic training vehicles let you focus on safe control rather than gear changes. Thorpe's LGV & PCV Training Ltd keeps every session one-to-one, so your progress never gets lost in a group setting.
